We believe in black businesses
For decades, Black-owned businesses have increasingly been disproportionately prone to failure far more than businesses owned by other races. In fact, the number of African American business owners in the United States plummeted more than 40 percent during COVID-19 — a far steeper drop than other racial groups experienced. Seeing black business thrive, especially in North Tulsa, is what wakes us up in the morning. Additionally, our founder has also started a nonprofit specifically focused on challenging the social norms of systemic racism by working with community partners to bring opportunities to North Tulsa.
