Websites4Good Founder to Receive $5,000 Grant as Part of New Idea Accelerator Program

Websites4Good Founder, Kristin Towles, is one of 10 Tulsans chosen to participate in Heartland Forward's Idea Accelerator program. Each participant is awarded a $5,000 Pebble Grant in addition to funds, aid and training towards conducting a rapid, small-scale test of their big ideas.

This program launches Heartland Forward’s Community Growth Program and Toolkit (CGPT), an initiative that seeks to support budding entrepreneurs in America’s Heartland by providing resources and training.

Washington D.C. organization Builders + Backers runs the Idea Accelerator program in conjunction with partner Accenture. Local support is provided by the George Kaiser Foundation. Read the full story at the Tulsa World website.
